Dedicated to developing a broad scope of experience and expertise in various positions of the production arena, K.W. has immersed himself into several different disciplines and cultures across the globe. The following is a collection of producing work with industry leaders showcasing over 30 years of experience in film & television, theatre, live events and music.

Film & Television

K.W. is currently guiding the development and negotiations for the film version of the award winning video game DREDGE by NZ company Black Salt Games. He secured prominent industry entertainment law firm Greenberg Glusker in Los Angeles for legal representation. After navigating meetings and offers from several major production companies, a development deal was signed with Story Kitchen, founded by two of Hollywood’s most prominent Franchise visionaries, dj2 Entertainment founder and SONIC THE HEDGEHOG Film & TV Producer Dmitri M. Johnson and JOHN WICK writer/creator Derek Kolstad, as well as former APA agent/partner Mike Goldberg.
Other credits include lead producer and editor for the Oscar qualified documentary short film Ink and Gold: An Artist’s Journey to Olympic Glory, which has been an Official Selection at 81 film festivals since the beginning of 2023, receiving 72 awards (including 42 Best Documentary Short Awards) and is an Official Selection for the “SPORT MOVIES & TV 2023 – 40th Milano International FICTS Fest” in Milan, Italy
K.W. has also produced, written, directed, choreographed and art directed on many film & television projects for clients such as 5-time Emmy Award winner Wayne Brady;  the Kid’s Choice Award winning shows of Disney Channel’s THE SUITE LIFE ON DECK, Nickelodeon's THE AMANDA SHOW, ALL THAT and THE NICK CANNON SHOW;  television and concert productions for Peabody and 12-time Emmy Award winner SHARI LEWIS AND LAMB CHOP;  the black comedy BACKGAMMON: SURVIVAL OF THE MISFITS starring Wendy Braun (Atypical, The Mentalist) and Josh Coxx (Strong Medicine, Thor), which premiered at The Cannes Film Festival and garnered a BEST FEATURE FILM Award at the New York International Independent Film Festival;  the feature film A COUPLE OF DAYS AND NIGHTS, with Allison Munn, Jackie Beat, Deirdre O’Connell, David Lago, Shonda Farr and composer/consultant Nancy Wilson of Heart, and several documentaries and reality series.

Stage

On stage, K.W. has produced, directed & choreographed for notable stage productions such as the award-winning and critically acclaimed NOBODY HEARS A BROKEN DRUM in L.A.; the award winning Barry Manilow’s COPACABANA; THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN starring Wayne Brady; OLIVER TWISTED (hosted by Tom Hanks, Lily Tomlin & Lesley Ann Warren); RAIN; EVITA (hosted by Shirley Jones and Marty Ingels); GYPSY; WEST SIDE STORY; YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN; THE WIZARD OF OZ and more. He co-wrote and co-produced the play THE BASEMENT which ran to critical acclaim in Los Angeles. K.W. also co-wrote and directed the critically acclaimed ANNE, a play personally blessed by and based on the writings of Anne Morrow Lindbergh. He has worked as part of the creative team for cruise lines and theme parks, including the original director/choreographer for The Blues Brothers and Hollywood Hi-Tones shows for the inaugural opening of Universal Studios Japan, as well as Azamara and Holland America Cruise Lines.  

Live Events

K.W. has coordinated and managed all aspects of VIP events for clients such as Disney, Penn State University, Italian vineyard Sartori Di Verona, BK Wine Tours,  Tourism NZ, The Wairarapa Dark Sky Society, multiple groups and organizations from New Zealand, China, Singapore, the US and France. He has been part of the creative and entertainment team for productions
with multiple charities and non-profit organizations which include Special Olympics, weSPARK Cancer Support Center, City Of Hope Hospital, Children's Hospital of Orange County and  the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

MUSIC

K.W. has co-written, arranged and produced tunes featured on several albums and soundtracks including multiple episodes of The Young & The Restless; Chef Roblé and Co., America’s Next Top Model, Sony Playstation Luxury Suite and Blue Aeris. He has worked with such companies as Sony, The Orchard, Mercia Records, CouldB Entertainment and Imaginary Friends Music Partners. He has produced, directed and editing many music videos including GODDESS KILLER by Silvermoney (Venice, the Series), as well as designed cd/dvd packages for clients that include Cameron Crowe, Nancy Wilson, Stuart Mathis (The Wallflowers), Kelly Moneymaker (Exposé), Emmy-nominee and award winning writer Sam Bobrick (Bewitched, Get Smart) and more.

Lecture/advisor

Currently, K.W. is a founder and director of Blue Aeris, a multi-faceted production company specializing in music, film and live events based in Los Angeles and New Zealand.  He is a proud member and affiliate of the Directors Guild Of America;  American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers;  Mercia Records;  Sony/The Orchard;  Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists;  Actors Equity Association; American Guild of Musical Artists; D’Construction Arts;  Octagon Performance Group, and several other professional organizations.

He has lectured, guest directed and advised at universities and schools such as Massey University (NZ), the National Academy of Singing & Dramatic Arts at Ara Institute of Canterbury (NZ), New World School Of The Arts (FL), University of Idaho (ID), Wright State University (OH), Point Park University (PA), Mt. San Antonio College (CA), David Howard’s Dance Center (NYC), Los Alamitos National Grand Champion Show Choir (CA), as well as multiple high schools, performing arts academies  and non-profit organizations across the US.
